Long time Capital Marine Modellers' Guild member, Ed Chan, specializes in 1:700 scale ship models. As an example of how this scale works RMS
Titanic has a length of 882 feet 9 inches (269.06 meters). Ed Chan's model of
Titanic is 1/700 of that length or, slightly longer than fifteen inches (38 cm).
Ed brought out a small selection of his models and displayed them at the
2019 Ottawa Boat Show between February 18 to 24. He kindly photographed them so that visitors to this blog site can see them up close.
