Capital Marine Modellers' Guild Display at the 2018 Ottawa Boat Show

The Ottawa Boat Show took place during February 22-25, 2018 at the EY Centre. Capital Marine Modeller's Guild appeared as a feature of the show. Club members manned the booth and put an impressive display of models and a rope walk.

Capital Marine Modellers' Guild will be at the 2018 Ottawa Boat Show

Capital Marine Modellers' Guild will have a booth at the 2018 Ottawa Boat Show, February 22 - 25, 2018 at the EY Centre, 4899 Uplands Drive, Ottawa, ON.

Members will be displaying their models along with related items and materials about model ships and boats and the Capital Marine Modellers' Guild.

Scratch Built Fairmile

Show and Tell models by Ian Moore during the 2 Jan 2018 meeting. The large model is a scratch built 1/72 scale Canadian Fairmile, Q124.

U-190 Model

This is a show and tell model of the German submarine, U-190, in Canadian service as target after WWII.

Capital Marine Modellers' Guild will meet on November 7, 2017 at 7 p.m., and the Nepean Museum, 16 Rowley Avenue, Nepean. Completed models, tools you like, work in progress, modelling problems and anything else of ship modelling interest are all welcome subjects for show and tell.

Tanker Barge Norman McLeod Heading West At Morrisburg.

I stopped at Morrisburg, Ontario last week to photograph some memorials. While there Norman McLeod went past the Morrisburg Public Dock going upriver on the St. Lawrence. I took a few photos. Norman McLeod is a non powered barge, most often paired with the tugboat Everlast.
