I visited the Rideau Canal Visitor Centre, at 34 Beckwith St South in Smiths Falls. On one of the four floors of exhibits I found and photographed this model of Rideau King.
I will be including these pictures with all the ones I took outside and inside the visitor centre when I post them on my blog site, Memorials in Ottawa. I have taken on visiting and photographing all the lockstations on the Rideau Canal as well as related features, primarily moveable bridges, as well as related plaques, commemorations, cemeteries and so on. I have a page on my blog site where you can track my progress. The page also provides links to all the blog posts that relate to the canal. I will likely begin publishing posts on the lock stations, starting with Ottawa some time in the summer of 2020.
I have also photographed many boats on the canal. These will be included on my blog site, but I'll be sharing them here some time before they'll appear on that site.
